Bozkurt began his legal career within Türkiye’s most distinguished law firms and continued to refine his craft in prominent boutique practices, where he developed a multidimensional approach blending analytical precision with strategic foresight.
As a recipient of the prestigious Jean Monnet Scholarship, he completed an LL.M. in International Business Law at Queen Mary University of London in Paris. During this period, he also received advanced arbitration training at the ICC Arbitration Center, an experience that broadened his understanding of global dispute resolution mechanisms.
During his LL.M. studies, Bozkurt authored a thesis titled “Transparency as a Principle of Corporate Governance: A Comparative Approach to Turkish Commercial Law in Light of European Union Law.” The work examines transparency obligations within Turkish commercial law, compares EU corporate governance frameworks, and analyses harmonisation challenges from regulatory and doctrinal perspectives.
Throughout his professional journey he has taken part in cross-border M&A transactions, multinational negotiation processes, and large energy and construction projects. He has contributed to arbitration proceedings before the ICC and the LCIA, and advised foreign parties in intellectual property matters before WIPO. His practice also covers Technology & Artificial Intelligence Law, Fintech–Crypto–Blockchain Law, Health & Biotechnology Law, and Fashion, Sports, Entertainment & Media Law, including legal representation of Galatasaray Sports Club.
His portfolio further includes significant work in International Arbitration and Investment Law, and advisory roles in Start-Up and Venture Capital transactions. In Real Estate Law, he has provided long-standing litigation and consultancy services in matters involving urban transformation, lease relations and large-scale construction investments.
Bozkurt is a multilingual lawyer, fully proficient in Turkish, English and French, and serves as a sworn translator in all three languages. His additional knowledge of Italian and Latin, along with introductory communication abilities in Spanish and Greek, enhances his cultural range and effectiveness in cross-border legal practice.
